Turbulence phase:
Definition:
Most people might have a short gap between education life and working life. That period is known as turbulence period, and this is the time where people do other things they can't usually do. Some did beneficial activities. Some did non-so-beneficial activities and let days and nights fly. With people like this most likely they can't remember the day or date of that particular day.
casual terms: Gap year(month/ week), lazing around, jobless parasites
Hence, blogging seems to give an extra advantage point: Allow people such as the second type to remember the date and day whenever they blog.
Shee Mei's turbulence phase observations:
DO BIRDS SING ALONG WITH MUSIC?
- It's true, Birds do sing along with music. I've conducted this experiment over 2 months period, with at least 4 times a week. That gave me 32 trials in total. Out of 32 trials, birds do sing along and imitate music from radio and piano at least in these 28 trials. Classical musics works much better than R&B, or pop musics. Birds do imitate much from rhythm wise. They can imitate very little pitch changes. This proved that baroque, romantic and classical composers were great composers. These are truely globalise music that can even communicate with animals.(unfortunaly I don't have a pet dog or pet cat to conduct further experiment and I can't find any street pets). And further information: Jay Chou, you know Jay Chou? His music seems to have effect on birds as well...
ANTS ARE YOUNG CHILDRENS' ROLE MODEL?
- Ants, are known as one of the hardworking creatures. They bet bees because they can carry objects 10-20 times their body weight. Also, they never waste food. They eat every single things they could find(that are edible), including their own kind's carcass.(Nah I should leave this out because this doen't work in humanity term). And proved that they are brave creatures. Very brave. While cooking myself some caramel earlier on in the kitchen, there's one this little fella searching for sweets, and it has detected the sweet smell of caramel. With the heat from the cooker that could make me sweat, in reletive size term, it should be extremely hot for a little ant. It keep crawling around the cooker, 3 inches from the fire source for at least 5 minutes. And patiently it's crawing around the same area waiting a chance to get the sweets in the pan, probably thinking how to... When they are concentrating on their target and goal, they are not afraid of anything... not until the very last moment they would run away.
- Flies are actually one of the bravest creatures as well, because no matter how we try to hit them and smash them, they will nevertheless coming back sticking to things around(although I never know why they do that). However to me it seems like they don't have any long term or short term memories to remember that they almost get squashed. So i don't term this as bravery, I term this as genetically amnesia.
FLIES AND MOSQUITOES ARE AFRIAD OF HEIGHTS?
- Yes. They are afraid of heights. If you are staying high up in an apartment and wonder how come mosquitoes and flies never appear in your house, That's because they can't travel like a helicopter up a few hundred meters up.(If you found a mosquito and fly in your 17th floor apartment, you can guess it. They travel by lift as you travel with it). And if you found one mosquito/fly and throw it from your apartment, it will actually fly spirally down to the groundfloor.
DOGS CAN TELL WHETHER YOU'VE PREVIOUSLY OWN A DOG, OR HAVING ONE NOW?
- Yes, they can tell, when you pat them and groom them. For obnoxious doggie, it will even give you a big fright by scaring you and bark at you, and then you'll see him walking away shaking his tail(showing that he's happy) probably laughing:"wow wow, yeah mission accomplish! Another victory to Wow Wow the Great!(himself)" But these dogs are quite smart, they don't simply scare you like that when they know you know what they are thinking.

This quotes have remain in my mind for a long long time when an interesting police officer came over to Sheffield student Union in year 2004 and give a speech about safety in Yorkshire. He used it at the right time. A funny and informative fella.
